Privacy Policy

The short version

General Hauling & Junk Removal is a junk removal, cleanout and dump trailer rental business in Agawam, Massachusetts. The information you give us is used to quote your job, carry out the work and keep you posted about it. It is not sold, rented or traded, and your mobile number is never passed to anyone else for their marketing.

What is collected

We only hold what you give us, plus the ordinary technical information any website receives.

• Your contact details — first and last name, email address, and phone number if you give one.
• The job — the service address (street, city, state, postal code) and whatever you tell us needs to go, including any photographs you send by text or email.
• Your messaging consent — if you tick either consent box on the quote form, we record that you ticked it, when, and which one, because we have to be able to show it.
• Payment — payment is taken by our payment provider. We see that a job was paid for; we do not hold your full card number.
• Technical information — the pages you viewed on this site, your approximate area, and your browser type, in the ordinary server logs that serving a website produces.

We do not buy contact lists, and we do not collect information about you from anywhere other than you.

What this website collects

This site has no analytics, no advertising pixels and no trackers of its own. It does not follow you between sites and it builds no profile of you. Its typefaces are served from this domain, not from a font network.

Two things on this site are provided by another company, and only these two:

• The quote form on the contact page, provided by LeadConnector (GoHighLevel). It is embedded from api.leadconnectorhq.com and loads a script from link.msgsndr.com. No other page loads it.
• The online booking system, provided by Zenbooker at widget.zenbooker.com. The BOOK NOW and RENT NOW buttons on this site open it; it is a link, not something embedded in these pages.

Cookies and tracking. This site sets no cookies of its own and uses only the storage a browser needs to render the pages. The two providers above can set their own cookies in your browser while you are using their form or their booking page — that is how they keep your session and stop duplicate submissions — and each is governed by its own privacy policy as well as this one. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings; if you do, the form and the booking system may not work, but calling (413) 361-5335 or texting (413) 758-5362 always will.

How it is used

Your information is used to give you a price, schedule the job, carry out the work, take payment for it, and follow up about it afterwards. If you become a customer, your details are kept as an ordinary business record of work quoted and work done.

We may contact you by phone, text or email about a quote or a booking you asked for. We send promotional messages only to people who have separately asked for them — see the mobile information section below.

We do not use your information to make automated decisions about you, and we do not sell it.

Who it is shared with

Only where the job requires it, and never for anyone else’s marketing:

• Our scheduling, quoting and payment providers — LeadConnector (GoHighLevel), Zenbooker and our payment processor — which handle your details on our behalf rather than for their own purposes.
• Disposal, recycling and donation facilities, where a facility requires documentation of a load.
• Where the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim.

There is no other sharing. Your details are not sold, rented, traded or passed to data brokers, and no list of our customers is made available to anyone.

How your information is kept

This site is served over HTTPS, so what you send from it is encrypted in transit. Quote requests submitted through the form are held in the LeadConnector account described above, reached over an encrypted connection and behind a password-protected account; bookings are held the same way in Zenbooker. Access is limited to the people in this business who need it to do the work.

Your details are kept only as long as they are useful as a business record of work quoted and work done, or as long as tax and insurance record-keeping requires, and are then deleted. Records of messaging consent are kept for as long as we are required to be able to evidence them.

No system is perfectly secure and nothing here promises otherwise. What we can tell you is what does not happen: your details are not sold, not rented, not traded, and not used to advertise to you on anyone else’s behalf.

Your choices, and how to exercise them

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct or update it, ask us to delete it, ask for a copy of it, or ask us not to contact you again. None of these requests costs anything and none of them affects the price of a job.

• To stop text messages: reply STOP to any message from (413) 758-5362. That is immediate and it stops only the messages.
• To stop promotional texts but keep service texts (or the other way round): tell us and we will change it — the two are recorded separately.
• To stop emails: use the unsubscribe link on any email, or ask us.
• To see, correct or delete what we hold: call (413) 361-5335, text (413) 758-5362, or email info@generaljunkhauling.com. There is no form to fill in and no account to close.

We will not treat you differently for exercising any of these.

Children

This site and our text messaging are intended for people aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us their details, contact us and we will delete them.

SMS / Text Messaging and Your Consent

How you opt in. You consent to receive text messages from General Hauling & Junk Removal when you give us your mobile number and ask us to contact you — for example by submitting a request form on this website, by ticking a text-message consent box where one is provided, or by texting us first at (413) 758-5362. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.

What we send. Messages relate to the service you asked us about: replies to your questions, quotes and estimates, appointment confirmations and reminders, arrival and job-status updates, invoices and receipts, and follow-up about work we have completed for you. If you separately ticked the box consenting to marketing messages, we may also send occasional promotional offers, seasonal reminders, and news about our services. You can opt out of either kind at any time.

Frequency and cost. Message frequency varies and depends on your conversation with us. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and we will revise the "Last updated" date above. If we make a material change to how we handle your information, we will make that clear on this page.
